Adeel will be presenting at HIMSS 2018 on Tuesday, March 6th, 4:10 PM – 4:40 PM on Innovating Innovation: Leveraging Your Community for Successful Innovation - on the same panel as PULSE@MassChallenge’s Program Director, Nick Dougherty - the legend himself! Together, they’ll get to dive into the success of their partnership and explore how Medumo leveraged the PULSE community to drive results for both patients and providers. Details: Bellini 2015/2016, Level 2, the Venetian.
Medumo was fortunate to get matched with Brigham and Women’s Hospital as
one of their PULSE Champions to address no show and poor preparation for colonoscopy using their next-generation patient navigation platform. The results from the pilot were a success.
“I anticipated that we’d see an improvement, but the preliminary results were beyond what I expected, and it continues to be successful” said Dr. Jennifer Nayor of the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Endoscopy.
The BWH Bulletin shared results from the pilot done at the Brigham and Women’s Endoscopy Center using Medumo’s colonoscopy CareTour.
After a 3-month Medumo CareTour intervention period:
Inadequate procedure prep quality dropped from 11.5% to 3.8%.
No-show rate improved, dropping from 6.1% to 4.3%.
